The tester Can distinguish diamond from white corundum, cubic zirconium (CZ), YAG, other stones and etc, and also real diamond from the lab-made diamond Moissanite. This tester is easy to use, including for beginners, with its LCD display and LED lights, and it emits audible sounds to give accurate readings time after time.

Just like the Diamond Selector II, a Buzzer in the Moissan-Dia Tester will alert you when the probe tip touches ordinary metal!

Features / Functionality: 

Real diamonds are indicated by sound and light signals. This easy-to-use, handheld gadget measures the thermal conductivity of the tested sample/stone and has an LCD display, LED lights and emits audible sounds to give accurate readings time after time. The Moissan-Dia Tester will beep and the scale will light up (a green light) or illuminate if the stone is a genuine diamond. It has a 7-second warm-up time and a 150-second shut-off alarm. If the tested stone is a simulant such as cubic zirconium (CZ), nothing happens (except with synthetic moissanite). It incorporates a Large/small switch for testing diamonds over and under 8 points. It can also distinguish between moissanite and a real natural diamond.

Natural diamonds with blue to blue-green coloration should not be tested with this gadget, since they have the same properties as Moissanite. You will value this gadget after only a few control tests! In future, you would be able to know whether a DIAMOND before you is real and natural or whether it is a man-made / lab-made imitation (moissanite!!), in just a few seconds!

NOTE: This brand-new gadget must first be used to test generally for (natural) diamond, and the result must be positive (i.e. for a REAL diamond), before it can be used as a moissanite tester. It is a handy gadget that thoroughly complements the standard diamond tester, e.g. the Diamond Selector II!

Metal alert: The Culti Dia-Mossanite Tester  will, like the Culti Diamond Selector II, emit a long beep when a user accidentally touches metal rather than stone.

How to use the Mossan-Dia Tester, in addition to its standard usage as a standard diamond tester:

- Clean your stone before testing - grease and other dirt can give inaccurate test results 

- Holding the probe of the tester upright, touch it to the surface of the stone to determine if your stone is a diamond or the diamond simulant, moissanite 

- The light display will indicate which one your stone actually is! 

This item can tell the difference between real diamond and moissanite, i.e. complements the functions of the (standard) DIAMOND SELECTOR II.
